A global leader in the world of power generation is seeking to recruit a number of experienced/lead electrical commissioning engineers, on a contract basis, for various international CCGT and ST projects. Our client is doing full EPC business and therefore will be fully responsible for all commissioning activities.
Responsibilities.
Overall responsibility for the HV equipment and the power distribution within the plant
*dynamic testing of the generator
*commissioning of Exc, SFC, protection, GCB
*performance of special tests (grid compliance tests
*commissioning of distribution switchgears, transformers, battery systems, HVAC
*Writing commissioning procedures such as: requirement/test sequence until first energizing (back feed) of the generator step up transformer, interlocking/inter-tripping test procedures between different EI system and HV interfaces, no load/load test steps and sequence testing including short-circuits tests
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant system knowledge:
- Extensive hands-on experience as commissioning engineer and able to work with special test equipment such as OMICRON, SVERKER, HIOKI fast memory recorder or similar test equipment.
- Understanding and overall knowledge of the commissioning sequence from start up commissioning up to load testing of the generator.
- Good ICT knowledge to enable communication with HMI’s
- Experience in the below system types.
Excitation Systems: P320 V1 and V2, ABB MEGATROL (PEC800), CONVERTEAM (Logidyn2/LogiCAD, Semipol D2/D3)
Protection Systems: ABB Protection REG 216, MICOM Protection (P344/345, P633, P123)
SFC: ABB LCI (PEC 800), CONVERTEAM (Logidyn2/LogiCAD, Semipol D2/D3)
GCB: ABB HECS XL, AREVA Areva FKG2M
Generator: H2-Generator with auxiliary -> seal oil, CO2/H2 system
