Seeking (6) Contract Mechanical Engineers for a company in Sacramento; Davis, CA. The contract with go for 3-5 months. Pay is DOE.
Candidate will help the current engineering team to design, assemblies and their components to meet customer and internal requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
Candidate will create bills of materials and oversee creation of drawings to support new designs.
Prepare stress analysis, hydraulic diagrams, test criteria, and critical assembly instructions.
Analyze design reliability, serviceability and manufacturability.
Provide support to other departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service.
Cooperate with other mechanical, electrical, and software engineers on detailed design work.
Minimun Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineer degree is required
5 or more years of work experience machine design experience.
1 or more years of work experience with product development (may be concurrent with the area above).
Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Have a firm understanding of mechanisms.
