Our client a global operator is looking to fill a vacancy for a Senior Instrument Engineer on their major project.
Role: To provide Instrumentation technical expertise on our high profile project. This comprises coordination of contractor services in the execution of the Instrumentation & Control Systems design for Rail Loading Facilities.
Accountabilities:
-Responsible for interfaces between Instrumentation, Control & Telecoms with other disciplines and OPF
-Provide Management with information on scheduling & highlight potential problem areas
-Review & apporval of instrumentation & control systems deliverables
-Participate in HAZOP and HAZID meetings & discussions -FAT attendance is required
-Supervising contractors executing design, procurement & construction activities, ensuring the quality, time & cost control of works
Qualification & Experience:
-Degree in Instrument & Control, Electronic or equivalent
-Minimum 10years discipline experience, preferably in infrastructure & utilities projects during detailed design, commissioning & start-up
-Experience of interfacing field instruments & package equipment with supervisory integrated control systems (ICS)
-Strong history of working with other related disciplines (Process, Electrical, Safety, Rotating Equipment, Operations)
-Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be an advantage
-Experience with all major vendors of field instruments & process plant equipment
